Admittedly, Tivoli boasts a little too much about its two UNESCO sites (and how could it be otherwise?): Villa Adriana, a great masterpiece of Roman architecture and result of a brilliant mind and Villa d’Este, with its elegant Renaissance atmosphere, gorgeous garden and hundreds of fountains. The quintessence of beauty in all of Europe.
